The Feast Day of Saint Dismas, March 25, 2025
As many churches prepare to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Dismas on March 25th, we ask you to think of Saint Dismas, the “Good Thief,” crucified alongside Jesus on Cavalry.
Described in Luke’s Gospel, 29:39-43, repenting from his sins, Saint Dismas asks Jesus to “remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Just as Jesus said to Saint Dismas, “Amen I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise,” our formerly incarcerated brothers and sisters need you to remember them.
You can make a difference by removing barriers that prevent people from successfully re-entering the community and workforce after being released from incarceration. Your generosity provides:
- Transportation to and from work
- A valid state ID
- Work shoes and clothing
- Security deposits for housing
“If it wasn’t for HOPE, I don’t know what I would have done.”
“The bus passes, clothing, and furniture were all much needed. But more importantly you made me feel like I was worthwhile; like God still loved me! I haven’t felt that way in a long time.”

Your Financial Gift Helps Our Brothers and Sisters Like Justin
Your generosity enables us to plant the seeds for a successful, positive, and hopeful reentry. Together, we can help empower our formerly incarcerated brothers and sisters as they grow into productive members of their communities, rebuild their families, and restore their faith.
At Foundation of HOPE, we witness God’s mercy and redemptive power working in the lives of the people we serve every day. When you support the Foundation of HOPE, you help us continue this vital work.
Thank you for your generosity. Please keep the many individuals we serve in your prayers. Saint Dismas, intercede for us!
